Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Working closely with the salespeople and traders in LBCM (Lloyds Bank's Corporate Markets Division). We provide financial and capital markets offerings to some of the largest businesses in the UK.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

There are loads of development opportunities outside my day-to-day role which I enjoy. It is also quite tailored to meet the needs of each individual and what they hope to get out of the programme.

There has been ample progress in the programme structure, but also still enough flexibility to meet the individuals requests. For example, the teams one joins and the projects one takes on.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a good level of support and am aware that, should I ever need more, I can ask ask. There are necessary channels in place to facilitate this.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lecturers are always contactable via email during the week. There are also other systems to communicate with the training provider to ensure we are staying on track with the qualification.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are socials which are regularly emailed around and sports events (particularly in the warmer months).

The Group is so large that there is definitely a role for everyone. There are also a ton of unique opportunities on offer within the organisation.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
There is a ton of advice out there, but what I found most useful was: Be yourself!
