Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Networking Delivery. I help to deliver networking projects through design, test & first office application. I run daily calls and ensure everything is running smoothly. I help to look after our platform and teams workstack, running quarterly wave planning sessions to ensure our workstack is managed effectively. I also look after the risk register for our platform.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my job. One of the main reasons is that I find my work meaningful and impactful. Knowing that I am contributing to a larger goal and making a difference in my field gives me a sense of purpose and fulfillment. The people I work with are also a huge factor in why I enjoy my job. My colleagues are supportive, knowledgeable, and always willing to lend a hand. Finally, I appreciate the opportunities for growth and development that my job provides. Whether it's through new projects, training programs, or professional development courses, I feel that my job allows me to continuously improve my skills and advance in my career.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I'm always learning and developing new abilities as an apprentice. In the last few months, I have improved various abilities in my sector of work, such as communication and time management, which have allowed me to increase the quality of my job. I've also completed various courses and workshops to help me improve my skillset and obtain a better grasp of the profession. I am constantly willing to learn new things and improve my skills, and I feel that this attitude is crucial to my development as an apprentice.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The apprenticeship program I am a part of is well structured, providing me with a solid foundation for my future career. The program combines on-the-job training with classroom learning, allowing me to gain both hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge. The curriculum is carefully designed to cover all the essential skills and information that I need to succeed in my field, and the lecturers are knowledgeable and experienced professionals who are dedicated to helping us succeed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have received fantastic support from BT during my apprenticeship. The company has a strong commitment to providing its apprentices with the resources and guidance they need to succeed. From day one, I have been assigned a mentor who has been there to offer guidance and answer any questions I have had. The company also provides regular check-ins and feedback sessions to ensure that I am on track and making progress. In addition, there are a variety of training programs and workshops available to us, which are designed to help us build our skills and knowledge.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
