For the majority, I was mainly gathering evidence of transaction of the company from client. I was documenting this evidence and challenging any discrepancies that were found. Also helped to document and scan through financial statements and back this up with evidence that the firm had done through a compilation
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed the work that I did on the programme enormously. I found it very engaging and I was constantly doing something new which I was interested in. The people that I worked with were all great to work with and helped and guided me throughout the tasks and total engagement effortlessly

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is very well structured as there is a wide support and resourcing network to ensure that you consistently know what you have to do and where to go. This is the case from the start. The network also ensures that if you need any help, you know where to go to
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received a lot of help from my employer, be it professionally or personally. Their was always multiple people that I could turn to should I have any question and those people were the same people who would constantly check up on me to ensure that I was coping with tasks
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I received a lot of support when working towards my qualifications as its my degree. I am given ample time and ample resources which is much more than most accountants would get and so I know that it is very good. The training provider is very understanding of what is needed to help us with the qualifications.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel as though that there is not a lot of help just yet as the modules that I have completed are that of a relatively basic level, and so it's all building towards the harder modules which will then help me immeasurably with my role in the future.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are socials most months and the social team is very clear and very good at informing everybody about them and what will we going on at them. The socials are in nice places and are always different and fun, with the turnout being quite high on a regular basis.

Why?
Yes, I would recommend PwC to a friend as the opportunities both professionally and socially are exquisite and I feel as though I have grown as a person immensely during my time at the firm. The company treats you with respect in all matters and caters to your needs indefinitely
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
I would say for them to research exactly what PwC does and to understand the industry that PwC is in. ENsure that you know how you can offer value to the industry and PwC. ALso learn a bit about PwC's other sides, like the social or their charity work so you know what kind of a company that you're working for
