Having the opportunity to listen to presentations delivered by Solicitors and Trainee Solicitors on preparation for applying for Training Contracts in the future, CV tips, day in the life of a Solicitor, Commercial Awareness workshops, debates, independent contractual tasks.
To what extent did you enjoy your work experience?

I thoroughly enjoyed this work experience and feel very grateful that I have been given the opportunity to partake in this programme. I was able to learn and develop a vast array of skills necessary for being a success in the legal field.
How well organised was your work experience?

Very well organised. Through every step of the programme there was structure and I was always clear on what I was meant to be doing even throughout the independent tasks.
How much did your work experience help you in deciding on your future career path?

I found that this work experience was vital in helping me decide whether or now Law was for me as there was an array of tasks which I was able to participate in. It reaffirmed my interest in wanting to pursue a degree in Law at university.

I would be very excited to have the opportunity to work at Pinsent Masons in the future. The atmosphere seems very friendly and all of the Solicitors and Trainee Solicitors which we had the chance to speak to were approachable and I felt very comfortable to ask any questions.
Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?

Yes, Pinsent Masons were excellent in providing us with opportunities to communicate with our peers throughout the process of the experience specifically through group debating exercises in small break-out rooms as well as through networking lunches.

Everyone throughout the Pinsent Masons programme demonstrated the very friendly nature of the company as a whole and I was provided with a multitude of opportunities to broaden my knowledge of the Law in a safe space and learning from professionals was an incredible experience!
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Pinsent Masons LLP?
I would definitely recommend applying for work experience at Pinsent Masons. Definitely make the most of the experience and participate as much as possible and use the opportunity and ask as many questions as possible, you are surrounded by an array of professionals!
