Listening to lectures from solicitors about their job role and the daily life of solicitors and group exercises working on developing legal skills such as critical thinking and forming arguments and presenting them coherently.
To what extent did you enjoy your work experience?

It was a really enjoyable experience with lots of opportunities to hear from professionals, as well as network with other young people going through the same application process
How well organised was your work experience?

Forage made the work experience programme very accessible and easy to see how the day would be structured. It was nice that all of the documents were on one website, rather than having to scroll through many different emails. Everything started and finished on time and ran very efficiently.
How much did your work experience help you in deciding on your future career path?

I had not necessarily considered Corporate law as a viable career path for me as I did not know much about it, however the work experience has given me an in depth understanding and I am now very interested in being a solicitor

It was invaluable to hear about the work life balance of solicitors and their routes both into law and Pinsent Masons itself. I learnt a lot about opportunities on offer such as the vacation scheme and apprenticeship routes into a legal career.
