I thoroughly enjoyed my work experience as it was very informative, interactive, interesting, and engaging.
How well organised was your work experience?

It was very well organised as it laid out the structure of each day with each session labelled with its time period in which it would occur, as well as the summary of what the session would entail.
How much did your work experience help you in deciding on your future career path?

It has helped me a fair amount in deciding my future career path as it has given me an insight into the actual work done by solicitors, which allowed me to decide whether or not such work would be something that I would wish to pursue.

What training and skills development did you learn from your work experience?

I learnt how to draft and read through legislation as well as condense information/rights listed on a lease into a more digestible format. I also developed my debating skills and presenting skills.
Company Culture
How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?

I learnt a fair amount through speaking with trainees and solicitors about what it is like to work there, as well as being informed of the internal networks offered by Pinsent Masons, which gave a good insight into the environment of the workplace which Pinsent Masons fosters.
Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?

Yes there was many opportunities for networking throughout the programme. We were given 2 sessions for which to discuss our thoughts and plans with a supervisor and 2 of the lunches were also optional networking sessions to talk with other students about our plans for the future.
