A mix of individual and group tasks with many presentations and discussions on various areas of the legal industry and the firm.
To what extent did you enjoy your work experience?

I was very engaged. Naturally some tasks were more interesting than others because of my interests but the interactive nature of the programme helped keep it enjoyable.

Very well structured with a clear agenda, good communication and easy to navigate sight.

I was already focused on law but it helped give me information on different types of commercial law to consider.

What training and skills development did you learn from your work experience?

I gained knowledge on drafting and interpretation. I was able to work on my communication and debate skills. there was also a lot of specific knowledge on types of law and structure of the solicitor path.
Company Culture
How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?

The programme had a lot of information about the firm and its culture but it was well balanced so it did not appear like an advertisement. I came away thinking it would be a desirable place to work with a strong community feel.

They consistently showed through the level of detail and consideration of their audience that they are genuinely interested in providing a valuable experience. I felt very supported in my tasks and it was especially strong as a virtual experience as discussion was encouraged and cultivated.
