Providing guests with excellent wine service, expanding my knowledge to communicate with the guest well, making guests feel welcome and acknowledged.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Enjoy my programme leader and the ability to meet and learn with other people within the Pig Hotels. I enjoy learning new skills and different types of time management, learning styles and leadership styles giving me a chance to implement them in my day to day role.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learning better ways to communicate, better time management, more effective ways to be a leader. Expanding my knowledge of services and items provided by my team. More efficient and effective team work.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Really well structured and communicated. Easy to follow and understand. Interactive, and allows me to listen to different points of view as well as share my own. Plenty of support and mentoring available if needed. Tasks are well thought out and easy to follow and support needed if necessary.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

If support is needed it is easy for me to communicate that to my company's HR team as well as my chosen mentor and they will provide all support and time that is necessary for me to complete my programme to the best of my ability and provide any tools needed to complete any tasks.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Clear communication through emails, texts and calls. 1-2-1 mentoring always readily available if needed. Open communication and demonstrations of anything that is unclear on any of the systems used throughout the course. Very friendly, open and honest training provider who is very supportive.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel like I am definitely a lot more aware of things that are around me and use a lot of the skills that I learn such as time management, conflict management, and general communication and emotional intellect skills more within my day to day role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Many company events to get involved with such as festivals, extra learning and beach days to take the edge off of working all the time. Always volunteer work available around our community provided by the company allowing expansion of skills, knowledge and communication.
