I think that the work experience was very well organised the sessions were clearly mapped out everyday and the links were very easy to access .
i really liked how we could find the resources in one space and they were very easily accessible .

I learned that you dont need a law degree to pursue a career in law so that has definitely made me feel more at ease i dont feel in such a rush to figure out what i want to do in college .

What training and skills development did you learn from your work experience?

I learned how read through large volumes of information and critically analyse it . I also learned how to network with people and found the networking lunches to be very helpful for building social skills which will be vital for when we enter the corporate world and need to build useful contacts

How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?

i learned a lot about Pinsent masons core values and belief . The people were very welcoming and keen to answer any questions we had . I also like the office atmosphere and how there is no hierarchy in terms of where people sit . I liked the idea of how a trainee could be sitting next to a partner .
Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?

yes the insight day in Dublin was really nice we got to meet other employees and trainees . We also had networking lunches where we able to meet and talk to new people and learn about their different experiences

I would definitely recommend it as they are a very welcoming company and very friendly to students . I felt the work experience was well run and organised .
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Pinsent Masons LLP?
I would say be yourself . Really sell your interests and what you like to do outside of academics .Also showcase skills that Pinsent Masons look for in people as that will help you stand out .
