I attended multiple panel talks, received advice from trainee solicitors, engaged in group exercises and attempted legal tasks which all broadened my knowledge in the field. I throughly enjoyed it and hope to continue studying law in the future!
To what extent did you enjoy your work experience?

I loved every minute of the work experience placement. I met some great people and gained contacts in the firm, one of which provided me with information on Pinsent Mason’s annual summer work experience placements which I am looking forward to applying to next year!
How well organised was your work experience?

It was extremely well organised. Forage was a great medium which allowed me to preview my schedule for the day and see what upcoming webinars I had and when they were. The Early Talent Team were also very organised and efficient in their responses on email.
How much did your work experience help you in deciding on your future career path?

I was already set on practicing law before this placement but this programme definitely reaffirmed my faith and convinced me that this is what I want to do! It was incredible and an unforgettable experience.

What training and skills development did you learn from your work experience?

I was immersed in many aspects of law from contact to employment, each of which I greatly benefited from. I worked on summarising large amounts of information and being time efficient which I can bring through into university and future placements!

How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?

It is very open and transparent. The atmosphere was friendly and engaging. It possesses the exact qualities I look for in a company and I would love to work there in the future!
