To what extent did you enjoy your work experience?

I enjoyed the work experience greatly and learned many new skills and knowledge. Everyone at the firm was friendly and helpful and very accommodating.
How well organised was your work experience?

Very well organised, all sessions were prepared in advance and laid out in a calendar for each day so we were fully prepared.

What training and skills development did you learn from your work experience?

Learned the skills required for a trainee at Pinsent Masons as well as the typical day in the life and roles of a solicitor. Developed communication skills with my peers and public speaking in debates.
Company Culture
How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?

I learned a lot about the company culture, such as social gatherings and the firm’s rugby team. The solicitors talked us through the typical day in the life of a lawyer at Pinsent Masons and answered any questions in detail.
Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?

Yes, we had the opportunity to have a networking lunch for two days of the experience, as well as breakout rooms to discuss and debate.
