Work Experience Student Review

4 days of presentations, individual tasks and group exercises delivered virtually. Had the opportunity to learn about different areas of Law, and what it is like to be a trainee/qualified solicitor. Also received some useful information about CVs, applications and interviews.

Really enjoyed how interactive it was compared to other programmes. Was able to really get involved with the sessions compared to other programmes I have completed where I just listened to people talk. Enjoyed the mixture of group and individual exercises, and how different areas of Law were explored.

Very well organised! Received emails before the start of the programme with information, and attended a launch event with further details. Programme structure was clear from the start and reiterated at the beginning of each day. Always had the opportunity to ask questions or email the team for further details.

Gave me a good insight into what working at the firm would be like in lots of different departments. Heard from employees with differing experience and about all the different routes into a legal career.

Learned about the different areas of Law the firm specialises in and lots about the purpose and culture of the firm. Also learned about how it strives to be a responsible business and the different support systems in place.

The programme was extremely well organised and everyone involved was very friendly! I really like the culture and values of the firm too and how inclusive they are.
