As a flying start working in the CoE Manchester, my day to day activities involved working in the high risk, complex and judgemental area around Pensions.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I've really enjoyed this programme as the team culture in the office is really friendly and everybody is available to provide me coaching on how to document and perform my work.

Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure of the programme has been very well thought and organised, the reason being is because the placements are planned so that they do not clash with my studies.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My managers and senior associates on the job are really helpful and are always available to assist with any issues or problems I may encounter. The mentoring and coaching is excellent as the managers and senior really take the time to teach and walk through how to perform the job.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support is really great as ICAEW have a dedicated student portal where there is additional resources for student to use to help prepare for upcoming exams
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The benefits of my qualification/studies has been really helpful as the theory I have learnt at University has been put into practise at work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many social activities and events taking place in the office on a regular basis, I enjoy participating in professional networking events as I am able to meet like minded individuals.

Why?
PwC is a great place to work as the culture is very friendly. Studying a degree apprenticeship is the best of both worlds as you get to experience the University life as well as gaining real life work experience first hand.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
Tips and advice I would provide to other applying to PwC is to actually take the time to understand the values and purpose of PwC. The assessment days are really fun, so be yourself.
