Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I talk with customers and help them service their Motor or Home Insurance policy. I take escalated calls and deal with complaints. I help other colleagues with queries from across the business. I look to develop myself and the role for others.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I feel the programme is very enjoyable as it is stretching me mentally and giving me additional growth within the company.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes I have completed part of my apprenticeship which has given me good knowledge for Insurance. I have attended workshops and training within work to develop.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
It has been slightly chaotic with lack of communication and a bit hit and miss with tutor being replaced midway through the programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Across the business different colleagues are really supportive and understanding which has helped me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
At first the original tutor was quick to respond to any queries however now we have changed tutors and it has been unsettling. I am now worried about my progress for my exams
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The qualification is a brilliant overall view of insurance and best practice. It has answered a lot of questions I had previously and I can use the knowledge in my day to day role and also when completing projects.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
I am a volunteer Jobs Coach, a Mind Ally and a menopause Champion at work. We do have social events but due to me living a long distance away its not feasible to attend these.
