Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Working with a team of 3 other interns, Completing tasks assigned by manager, I happened to work on AWS systems. Plenty of time also allocated to network and socialise with other interns.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, as a team of interns we were asked to develop a system to be used internally.
We had total responsibility of how the system would be used, what technologies to use and also how to go about distributing tasks throughout the team

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Guidance and support was available in abundance, i could schedule a meeting whenever i wanted with my line manager, mentor or other members of staff. I could also email or skype anyone without feeling like pestering them.

Focus on enjoying yourself and developing yourself rather than getting anxious or scared. Being nervous is good, channel it :)
