Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As a QMT we mainly deal with supplier Queries and the processing of invoices and credits. The role also involves tackling aged items and trying to clear these and doing some analysis on this.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the role I do now however i do look to progress in the coming years.

Yes, We mainly use excel so my excel knowledge has grown vastly.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The course I am doing has tight deadlines; it is a full on course with lots to take in. The college could be improved to better allow students to work effectively.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support is available if needed, you can always contact your line manager if you need anything.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The college is running every week and you cane always reach out to the tutors. However the college is using online learning which does not seem to suit many students.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification allows me to better understand what happens after I action anything and allows me to understand why i do things.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes Cummins has many external opportunities to help in the community. These are days out of the office but you still get paid. You do 6 hours a year.
