Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
To produce content for our socials, whether its video, photography, copy or other. On a day to day I will schedule posts and prepare posts for paid marketing campaigns. I will also prepare and plan particular campaigns - deciding what type of content would be best or better suited for our desired audience.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
I do enjoy my programme for the most part. I do have a lot of freedom to create the things I want to but my role requires that I learn and practice a lot of skills. This means that I don't specialise in one area, we also have a design team and they get to work on most of major design, content creative work to keep in line with brand guidelines. It would be nice to be able to work on more video stuff as this is something I would like to pursue in the future but I don't have the means.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I have learnt a fair few new skills throughout my time on the course. I have not just developed technical skills but transferable skills also that i can take away with me to other areas of marketing or other jobs in general. This includes admin stuff such as writing emails and communication with members of my team from other areas

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
It is quite well organised. I believe that I am getting taught the right things and that my apprenticeship covers the basis of marketing. I am getting taught a wide range of skills such as SEO marketing, presenting, displays advertising, understanding analytics etc. I believe these skills are taught in a structured way.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive a lot of support from my employer. If i need anything or stressed about anything that space has been created in order for me to feel comfortable enough to express that concern or worry. If i need to factor in more time for anything then this is made possible through my employer
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Although my employer and my training provider are the same company I do get a lot of support from both sides. I have regular one to one meeting and reviews to ensure that I am up to date with the my apprenticeship targets and it also gives me a space to raise any concerns I may have
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I believe that without my qualification I wouldnt have covered everything i would've needed to become an experienced marketer, because of this, my apprenticeship has given me the opportunity to learn things that I may not necessarily cover in my role as the opportunity to do so isnt available in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
The wider marketing team often hold up events and such. There is sometimes opportunity to go to these events and lend a helping hand whether that be photography, video or otherwise. its nice to see the activites of the wider team and understand how they operate on a day to day - you also get to practice skills that you may not get to in your immediate team.
