Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Day to day I had team calls with updates on projects as well as some meetings as well as tasks such as writing minutes, conducting research analysis and working on my presentation. I was looking into value exchange as well as the future role of transactions and payments.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes - I was able to conduct an 8 week project with another intern which gave us a lot of independence and responsibility. I was also responsible for taking notes in meetings as well as helping with other projects and its numerical analysis.

In addition to training, I had lots of support, such as a line manager (as well as 4 others in my team) with weekly meetings, a mentor as well as a buddy (graduate).

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was very supportive and encouraging, even under online conditions. People were very keen to work together, help one another and conduct their projects, and there was a good acknowledgment of a healthy work-life balance.
