To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it because I can use it in my daily work and programme is led by people from the same industry. It has met my expectations and I always recommend it to my colleagues.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is extensive, but well-structured. Modules are appropriate for my role, lectures are interesting with a good amount of practical examples and case studies. Support system at work is good, however the expectations from apprentices are unclear, there is a big administrative burden and many documents to be maintained.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive 1 day per week off work to dedicate to my apprenticeship. My line manager is supportive of my apprenticeship and she is also my mentor for the programme.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Good amount of support through regular meetings, calls and extensive instructions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My apprenticeship knowledge can be used in my daily work and I can put it into practice very often, so I do feel I perform better.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to AstraZeneca?
Go for it! Learn about company's values and prepare good examples from your previous roles for the interview. Once accepted, onboarding is well-supported and smooth process. If you get in, there will be many possibilities for progress and change of roles within the company.
