Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Daily tasks include, simple stitching and preparation work for production with training in each department within rotation. The training is off production work.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy learning about the company and the history of footwear.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Lots of new skills, including leather inspection, sewing machine, and manual labour with machines.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme started off well organised and structured with planned activities but as time progressed has felt less like an apprenticship

Good level of support, accommodating with mental health queries as well as concerns about the work experience

My qualification gives me a better understanding and more rounded outlook on the whole production that wouldn't be achieved entering as a junior

Possibly, but the working times don't correspond with the events, and then events happen at a different location to where the apprenticeship is held

Unless you put hard work in the likely hood of progression outside of the factory is slim

Best advice is to be open minded and to think about the apprenticeship over the brand
