Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role as a kitchen team leader is to lead the team during the shift and making sure that food is made up to standard of the company and that everything is done the right way. I am also responsible for the safety of my team and filling the records
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

For the last few months i have enjoyed the program very much my trainer is very competent and very understanding. I have not yet had any problems understanding any topics or tasks. The knowledge and i really have been enjoying the time i have spend learning about the hospitality industry
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

During my time at the company i have improved on many of my existing skill such as:better time management, better communication skills, and i have learnt about alot abiut food safety and how to use fryers and how to cook a steak properly so that its up to temperature.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The program is structured in a very nice and in easy to undersand manner that makes it easy to learn and to fulfill all the task that you are given. Its alaso very easy to navigate and to find whatever you need. All the information that is in the program is very clear and easy to read.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have received a lot of support from my employer. I have been trained and shown how to make sure everything is up to standard and so that the customer is satisfied and so that our quality of food and service is up to the highest standard possible to get
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

During my apprenticeships training my trainer has been all i could ask for. She has been supportive and very clear about what task I have to complete before our next session and what will happen in the next few montch of the programm. She has been very easy to contact aswell
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel very positivethat my qualification training is helping me to perform at the top of my abilities and to make sure that i make none to as little mistakes as i posaibly can. It also alowed me to perform at highest performance point possible for me right now to achive.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

From what i know there are some extra activities to get involved in like football or darts but unfortunately i have not have a chance to be a part of them yet but all those extra cirricular activities sound very fun and entertaining so i will join them in the future

Why?
The program is very easy to keep up with and there is nothing too hard to learn the trainers are very helpfull and easy to aproach they make sure you keep up and understand the program fully. And the whole apprenticeship becomes a fun and enjoyable experience that will help you in the future
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JD Wetherspoon?
I would suggest that if you are struggling with the topic tell your manager or the trainer they are there to help you and to make sure you pass your final qualification test, and to make sure you dont leave your task for the last minute because you will fall behind
