Manufacturing asset maintenance which involves maintaining the assets that are used to manufacturer the products we sell to our customers.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the work I do within the business. The programme as a whole can be quite busy when juggling the various qualifications, courses and in the business learning.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Since the start of the apprenticeship, I have learnt many new skills in both mechanical and electrical fields.

My colleague from in the business provide a lot of support and ensure that I am learning new skills when out on jobs with them.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Since Derby College have taken over as the lead training provider, there has been a lot of issues with assessors, marking of work and general support from the college. We are working on improving this but it is slow progress.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Some of the college subjects have been irrelevant to the work I undertaken within the business but in the long run, it is knowledge that may be useful at a later stage.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
