Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Many collaborations and meetings like daily stand ups, refinements, sprints and other. Majority of your time you will be learning to code in Swift and applying it in the workplace as well as exposure to other areas like testing and Devops.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
At first it was very overwhelming being introduced to everything at once but as time goes on it gets easier as long as you enjoy it and put in the effort also everyone in the office are extremely supportive in every way possible. I love it.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
A much greater understanding of coding languages like Swift and Java.
Software development life cycle in my case in being part of a agile team.
General better understanding how everything works in the business and how it's run from the development stage to regression to the release.
Personal skills I'd say I became way more proactive.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
For this program you need to be super proactive to stay on track however whenever you do reach out you get the best possible support which can either be tech related from people with years of experience or even personal mentorship.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
A lot. Constant support and catch ups with my buddy, line Manager and team.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
Sadly my education provider doesn't provide any resources or training for Swift however is great for other languages like Java.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Learning about testing, APIs, automation, Agile is helpful however as said before it doesn't cover Swift
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There is social events for like Christmas and Diwali for the whole floor and smaller social events for your teams could be mini golf or whatever your team decides on.
