Well organised, hybrid between On site classes and online webinars allows flexibility and resources are always shared online to be able to refer back to

Line manager is really supportive having been through a similar process, encouraged to share knowledge and finding and given opportunities to gain exposure in areas to support with the theory learning

More than enough, great resources specific to the courses but many more additional resources accessible and Learning advisor access on hand

Absolutely, every module has some relevance and I have taken many learning to implement in to my work role, assignments focussed around your role allow to contextualise easily to be able to see the relevance

Great opportunity to learn and develop. The level of exposure gained in a role can really set people up well for a career in what ever profession they are in. The people in the business are AMAZING and there is a real sense of pride to work in the business. Great opportunities to influence how the business operates.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Matalan?
Be yourself, many different personalities in the business and all work well together. Throw yourself into the learning opportunities, there is always great support to help you along the way
