Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves reviewing change documents to find any security issues and ensure they are mitigated and follow relevant polices.
I work as a Information Security Analyst in the Security Architecture department of NatWest.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed the programme as it had a mix of training courses and workplace tasks. It helped develop my soft skills such as teamwork and communication.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned lots of new skills from , coding to cloud technologies.
My main skill improvement has been able to use different operating systems such as Linux and Mac OS.

The training and overall structure of the programme was good , future programmes would benefit from more workplace programmes and on the job training.

I received great support from my employer , line manager and team members.

Their are Social events such as team activity days , an apprentice cohort chat which helps everyone discuss their experiences and socialise.
