Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I was studying on online platform , I had plenty of resources to look and study from them . My personal tutor was always helpful and provided power points slides which was easier for me to study. We had Skype calls and we were talking about Moodle step by step , he prepared me for exam
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The program was nice and easy. I had really good tutor ( Ricardo Prego ) who was always helpful with smile on his face . Platform to study was easy to access , online classes were well organized and with high range of hours where I could choose classes. Basically everything was perfect I enjoyed so far

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes I did learn new skills , I have learned how to organise my free time ( time management) I have learned new words because I didn't know plenty of professional words , I have learned about British values , about mission vision , and many more. I have also learned how to find information about all ingredients

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Programme was well organized, I had easy access for all resources. I had clear view of what to do and what my tutor expected me to learn for next meeting. All classes were well organized and tutors were nice and polite. Basically I have enjoyed it so much . If I could I would do this again
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I have good managers and I can always count on them , but at that time I didn't need any support. My biggest supporter was personal tutor [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] who was always there form me . He done his job with full professionalism and with smile on his face. I didn't feel pressure at all
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Support from lifetime training was really impressive. Like I mentioned earlier my personal tutor was amazing and done his job perfectly. Beside that, all tutors in online classes seems to care about students and if someone didn't understand something they were explaining everything. Even if my English was not so good I could understand everything
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
To be fair I didn't think that this qualification will help me with something because I don't want to work in hospitality industry but when I was watching job offers I have seen plenty of them where they require level 2 English where I have gained in this course. In my current role It help me to understand more about food production
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I used to work in Bexleyheat pub but I have moved from there , in my previous pun we had football tournaments , darts tournaments and many others. Whe had staff party and we were meeting after work. Plus we had social meetings were we could speak about ours problems and look for solutions

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend JD Wetherspoon to a friend?
Yes
Why?
JD wetherspoon is good company , reliable and had no issues with payment. I think it is perfect company for someone who is just starting jurney with jobs. Pub is open from 6am until 2/3am that means you can have flexibility teven when you are at University. Apprenticeship program is one of the benefits
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JD Wetherspoon?
Firstly I would apply for apprenticeship straight away . Then I would learn as quick as possible to be team leader , I think is no worthy for long term because is only 20p difference from normal associates and you have more responsibility but if you are team leader you could write this on your CV and it looks better and gives you more opportunities
