Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Attending team meetings - learning how to work agile.
Analysing current journeys, their pain points and potential solutions to solve them.
Gathering requirements from stakeholders.
Creating wireframes and visual designs.
Presenting those designs and applying feedback.
Completing assignments and portfolio based off my work for university.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my program a lot. I can easily say it's the best job I've ever had. The blend of education with work is ideal and what I learn during uni helps me with my understanding at work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've learnt:
How to use new software (jira, leankit, figma)
Improved my presentation and public speaking skills
How to work agile and what each member does
How to approach a problem (highlighting pain points etc)
Improved my writing skills through uni assignments

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Fairly well. At first there was a lot of confusion but now I know what is expected of me at work and uni

A lot, my manager is approachable and very helpful

During the first module, we didn't receive much support. Now the second module has started recently, we have been assigned skill coaches so we now have someone to reach out to for support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My manager is approachable and easy to talk to. Everyone is happy to help out with training/ support. There's room for development.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest Group?
