Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I attend multiple calls a day focused on any new features to be built/tested or implemented. I work on one task usually to be implemented and follow it through all stages as it is the most beneficial structure for my learning.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
It is good, I do wish it was slightly more structured however there are many opportunities to learn and develop.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
yes, I have developed my knowledge in multiple programming languages and learnt new ones. I have also developed all my soft skills such as communication, organisation etc. I continue to learn new how to use new software's and development techniques.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
It is sometimes difficult to get a hold of my assessor and not all the coursework is relevant however besides that internally it is excellent and I am always checked in on and given work when requested.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
A good amount, not overbearing but I feel comfortable asking for support when needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
When in discussion is great however sometimes difficult to get a hold of to catch up.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I think it forces me to learn about other sectors of the department however as it is not always relevant I am sometimes spending time learning about something I do not need to know for my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, many however with COVID it is slightly more difficult however zoom is available it is not as appealing.
