Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes I was allowed to take on responsibility for bits of work that would eventually reach clients, however it was never overwhelming and everything I was asked to do was fully explained.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Learned a lot about the construction industry as well as about the many subtilties of managing such large projects and programs.
Learned about the technical roles available and how they fit into the picture
Developed skills like report writing, excel and presenting in front of an audience, also was the first time I had worked in an office environment.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I had a buddy and line manager who were incredibly supportive and were very willing to help me understand anything. What came across most was how passionate they were about their work and people like that generally make good teachers.
