I work alongside major clients of the company in my day today role, delivering & managing the cost aspect of the scheme
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme as I am able to run my own schemes and jobs however I know I have the support from many colleagues for if / when I need it. I feel like I have a alot of responsibility which is good

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed many skills so far in my apprentice at Turner & Townsend such as technical skills on excel and improved my ability to present and speak in front of many people

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is very well structured, at Turner & Townsend we have an internal development scheme for new starters which is in-line with the University's apprenticeship scheme so I am getting a lot of support throughout the course
How much support do you receive from your employer?

There are many people I can look towards for support in my day to day job and they will all go out of their way to help me with anything
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

At Turner & Townsend we have an internal apprenticeship programme which is in-line with the university's programme. I've got alot of support when it comes to working towards my qualification because of this
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

There is a good mix of 'on the job' learning where I can learn first hand how to complete the role, the ability to shadow other members of the team to see best practice and finally there are many internal self training programmes which I can learn from to understand the role more.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

On average there is a networking event every week, either internally, which other companies in our building or events within wider construction industry. Furthermore we have a football that play each week that I am apart of. Finally we always try to organise a social activity out of working hours that everyone can enjoy.

Turner & Townsend are well organised when it comes to developing graduates and apprentices with their internal programmes, they work along side the biggest clients in the region, nationally and globally. As Turner & Townsend is a global company they are always promoting the chance to relocate to another country to further your career. Finally the everyone at Turner & Townsend is supportive and look out for each other
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Turner & Townsend?
I would advise that you try to attend a Turner & Townsend career fair at a school or university or look out for any events that we host, it is best to make the connections with current members. Furthermore be very professional in your application and interviews
