Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am at university full time and have placements during the summer and placement year. It is a really good balance of work and study. I do some ambassador duties during the uni year and then get treated like a normal employee when on placement.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the balance of student and work life. I have been given so many opportunities and really grew my network. It's also nice not to have any debt and a steady income

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

PwC covers expenses of any certification I wish to do. So I have completed my Azure and Alteryx certifications. I am developing new skills at uni and my fees are all covered

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

We do semesters of university and then placements. I like the structure of the course as it keeps work and study separate

How much support do you receive from your employer?

We constantly get check ins with our progress and get any assistance we require. We are also given a buddy and a career coach

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Queens University has been a good experience. I have enjoyed some modules but found others more difficult. I have also found it difficult being online and having less support
