Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
As an apprentice, a lot of my work was training, as well as using my coding skills to automate certain tasks for my team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
So far, my experience has been great! A lot to learn in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I had the opportunity to learn how to code in Google Apps Script and how to use Alteryx, but I also developed my Javascript programming skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I think the programme is well organised, however, TDAs have quite different experiences depending on the team they work in. In that sense, I believe the structure of the programme could offer a little more stability.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
The support that is available to us has been remarkable, I feel very well informed and comfortable asking for help at any time.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Most of the training was self-study, however, we are provided with many opportunities to ask questions and get help if needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
There is a lot of helpful training out there, of course coding and software using skills are very helpful, but also learning about job practices like Agile, for example, can really improve your work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes! We have many activities, from TDA socials to events with the entire Birmingham office or even firmwide activities like the pantomime show!
