Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
You are assigned clients to work on, the hours are split to which client needs you more, you may be on one client for a month or only a few days - it depends. You complete work using spreadsheets.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I enjoy it, however it is extremely hard, you have to know you want this, it isnt for the lazy-minded. A lot is expected of you.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
yes, communication, how to use different programing and professional skills to continue to use in everyday life.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
This is probably the best structured program there is, it's better than an apprenticeship or separate degree. You become chartered in less time than most.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
A lot, PwC are extremely helpful in providing support and coaching you through what to do.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
not as much, they have a lot of students and can't distribute resources for individual support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
They help us get 12/15 qualifications needed to become chartered, learning this is 1st year and 2nd year allows you to have a bases of understanding for work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
at work there are a lot of social events, sometimes groups play sports after work as well.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
Yes
Why?
They are a great company with great opportunities, one of the big 4 but they aren't scary, it's like being in a family when you work for pwc.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
Learn your terminology, take notes, be eager to learn - if you stand out you'll be presented with opportunities that you'll be grateful for.
