Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My team is responsible for the people system management and data insight throughout the business. In my role I collate and cleanse data and provide reports and insight, provide technical support for People Systems, create system user guides and provide systems training and provide general administrative support for our People Systems.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I am only just starting my programme so I haven't got too much insight on it yet but from what I have seen so far it seems like it will be enjoyable. There are a variety of different things I will learn and I am excited to apply them in my role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
In my role I have learnt a lot of new skills. Particularly how to use Microsoft Excel at an advanced level with formulas, pivot tables, macros, conditional formatting etc. I have also started to learn how the systems work from an administrative point of view and how to fix issues.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
As I mentioned above, I am only just starting my programme so I haven't got too much insight on the structure yet but from what I have seen so far it seems like it will be well organised and structured with the discover, practice and apply elements of the programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer has been very supportive so far with this programme but also they have been continually supportive with my development in general. Prior to starting this programme I had set development days for learning new skills and I am confident I will receive the time and support I need to complete this apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Similar to my previous answers, as I haven't progressed with the programme that much this is hard for me to answer but the support I have received so far from my training provider has been good. They have been informative and quick to answer any queries I have had.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I think my qualification will be really useful in helping me perform better in my role. The topics that the programme covers are directly linked to my role so I will be able to develop my skills to perform better but I am hopeful that I will also be able to learn ways to streamline my work and improve efficiencies.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, there are lots of things to get involved in at work. There are a variety of sports teams, a lot of charity and volunteering opportunities and a variety of diversity networks for people to get involved in. There are also plenty of social activities and opportunities for people to suggest new extra-curricular activities.
