Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Get assigned areas of audit to help at the ground level. This would involve completing "EGAs" (evidence gathering activities). These would then be reviewed by seniors. Covering a range of financial statement line items (FSLIs).
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed a lot, the people i worked with were very friendly and approachable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Soft skills - importance of clear communication, building relationships and feeling comfortable pitching ideas.
Technical skills - such as use of new softwares, systems and shortcuts to increase quality of work as well as efficiency.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very, every morning we had daily catch up calls. Also, if I was ever unsure there was a network of people i I can reach out too.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots. Had career coach and other mentors for wellbeing. As well as coaching for technical work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Newcastle University are always viable to reach out to. This helps me feel welcome and supported.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The degree itself in Newcastle has provided me a great foundation and technical competence to use in my day to day work at PwC.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
