Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
There are 4 different placements within my apprenticeship. Day to day can be anything from planning events to writing articles to attending stakeholder review sessions. I get 7 hours a week within work hours to study for my degree.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy the program and my job. I enjoy the degree and the subjects I learn about whilst also enjoying my placement and day to day working.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt how to note take for disciplinary hearings. I have developed on skills such as communication and listening.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The apprenticeship is very well structured. I get 7 hours a week to complete my degree work as well as I know what times I work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
i have fortnightly meetings with my scheme lead as well as weekly meetings with my placement manager to discuss my work for the week as well as how I am doing within my placement
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
QA give us weekly work to compete in our own time and then every fortnight we have a day session where we talk through this work. However there have been issues such as poor lectures and mix up in groups which brings the score down.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I can relate what I learn to my organisation quite frequently and I hope that the knowledge I gain within my degree will help me in my future practice.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Because of covid a lot of these activities are not available but I do know they are on offer. Within my team I help organise team days at different sights which I attend
