Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
On a daily basis I do checks in the morning to make sure that everything runs on the time that they are expected and I also do volume checks to see the difference in volumes for each day. I have also created a new joiner's page which will help any new members of the team to understand what types of access they will need to request for and also give them steps on how to request the access.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I really enjoy my program as I'm doing something that I love to do as a job instead of doing something that I would not like to do and I get to learn alongside of it which will allow me to build my knowledge up and improve my career in the future.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes I was quite shy when I first started out and would normally be hesitant to speak my mind or to nervous to ask questions but since I started I built up confidence and I am now confident enough to give out any ideas that I have which could make something better and I can also now ask questions without feeling nervous to ask them.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
It is really organized as everything is planned out so there is enough time to let your managers know that you won't be available and the events that are provided with your apprenticeship are worth going to as they allow you to meet other apprentices so you can start building networks with each other and you can also learn a lot from the events
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I have a weekly catch up with my manager so that he can ask if there is anything that I'm struggling with or if there is any support that I need or if I'm struggling something then I can just message him and he is happy to help however they can.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
My training provider gives me advice on what would be the best options but always makes sure that he isn't influencing me as it is my apprenticeship and has stated that whatever I want to do or my apprenticeship ho wouldn't discourage me from it but give me his opinion incase I want to do something which isn't anything to do with what I want to do.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I feel that it would help me in my role as I will be learning lots of stuff that I can apply to my work as well as if I learn something that would be valuable to have within the team then I can be the person to go to when it comes to that specific topic
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
We have events happen every few months which allow us to network with other apprentices and have some fun as well such as we had a end of year quiz with the apprentices for one of our events and everyone had a goof time having a laugh and connecting with one another

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend NatWest Group to a friend?
Yes
Why?
As I believe NatWest is a good place to work for and there are many opportunities that you can take with NatWest if you work hard enough. They also have values that I believe in such as giving chances to people to show that they have the potential to build something great.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest Group?
I would say do your best when you start and show that you are interested in learning of your team as if they know that you are interested in what they are doing and want to know more from them then you will get a better experience out of them and also don't be to nervous to ask questions as your team will be willing to help you out however they can
