Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My day entails logging on to the VCS system to take part in different extensive projects. I am based on a Mobile enhancements team and usually we commence the day with a 'Daily Stand Up'. This ceremony allows me to understand what my duties are.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I enjoy the programme, however much recently the mode of teaching was changed which has affected me a bit.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Whilst working at Natwest, I have refined my research techniques, researching is really useful in UX Design, so i've found this particularly beneficial. I have also learnt how to develop lo-fi wireframes which help to convey a foundational ideal when designing solutions.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The programme is structured well but, I believe there could be better management with communication amongst some lecturers.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
A lot of support. At Natwest we have quarterly reviews which are graded against a 'goals' framework which helps with learning and development.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive a lot of support, I am neurodiverse and QA have offered ways to help ease my way of learning.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification provides me with theory to apply to my day to day role, it's almost like having a UX manual for the workplace.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes we have social activities, at current I am on the social committee for the team and we are planning a wider team link up.
