My role is a telecommunications engineer for openreach, I get given multiple jobs to complete a day, this involves working on the copper network and fibre optic installations.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the work that I do, every day if different and I’m learning new skills everyday

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have learn a lot about copper wires, the faults and how they work and I’ve learnt many handy skills while installing fibre like drilling, cleating climbing ladders/poles

My company is very well organised and there is plenty of support in place to help me out at anytime. I have frequent reviews with assessors to see my progress
