Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Managing and supporting the business,positioning the people product and equipment, setting targets, training the people,dealing with the customers, maintenance os quality, service and cleanliness of the restaurant. Looking after the shift setup, stock issues, focusing on the order accuracy to avoid delivery returns and maintain fast and quick service
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Learning after so many years makes me to feel like going to school and college again. I thoroughly enjoyed learning from online classes by the tutors even in the pandemic time nothing has stopped. Getting more concentrated on studies after long time but finally it has come out in a positive way.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

As every day is a learning day, learn something new, gain confidence, teach the new people, training the staff, building trust with the customers,maintaining good relationship with the staff and the customers, confidently handling the customer complaints, solving stock issues, giving support to the other managers

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Every thing is planned perfectly and went accordingly. Even during the pandemic nothing has changed except from offline to online. All the tutors has supported and has given good guidance how to manage and study in a planned way. Conducted several practice exams to build confidence. It has given me a real time experience
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Employer has given support from the beginning to the last of my program. I was laid while I was learning.i was given opportunity to study from home during the pandemic time. Supported practically to gain knowledge that has helped me find answers easily to the questions that were asked in the exams
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

All the tutors has given me shoulder to shoulder support like how the children were teached in the schools I am so lucky to have such tutors in my life. I am so thankful for the entire team ofy tutor's. They have guided me with patience ,cleared each and every doubt
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Increased my confidence levels, gained knowledge related to the business, how to deal with the customers issues, business policies like food safety,health and safety how it effects the business. Giving training and support to the staff to get good quality service and friendly service to the customers. Overall good
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Given opportunity to decorate ideas for Halloween, boosting up the team every time when they achieving the targets by giving them star of the shift, given opportunity for the womens day to suprise the staff with small flowers, Engaging the children by supplying colours and decorating papers, talking with them

Why?
McDonald's is a great platform for everyone to start their career. Any person from zero can become a super hero or a super women if they avail the opportunities. Hard work always never gets you down, I personally experience this and I am happy to say from the bottom of my heart that McDonald's is my familt
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to McDonald's?
Work hard, never let your self down, follow your own mind, never listen to the people who let you down. Utilise all the opportunities that are available, be perfect with them, be confident on what you are doing .No one is perfect from day 1, try to learn something every day
