Assistant manager. My job involves serving customers and making their food. I also deal with some of the back office stuff such as p and l, ops supplies, health and safety and food safety. I interact with crew and work side by side to help train them to work all stations.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy the programme. It suits my learning styles, I prefer to learn on the floor and get involved rather than sit in a classroom for 5 days a week. I enjoy the uni placements as they are a break from the work environment and teach things in which I can take back to the workplace.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

In my new role I have learnt a lot of the financial side of the business. P and l, health and safety, audits, cash counting, petty cash claiming. All the things that go on behind the scenes of the business. Aswell as the on the floor work and the back office stuff.
