I enjoy my role very much, the opportunity to work on systems that many people are never likely to is one I find enjoyable. The culture within babcock and the friendliness of my colleagues also adds to my overall enjoyment of my job.

Skills Development

5/5
I have learned plenty of practical skills within my role, advanced knowledge I already had and have improved across my interpersonal and team working skills immensely through my apprenticeship.

Structure and Support

4/5
With the first year being entirely within the west college Scotland campus I feel that it was the perfect start to the apprenticeship, as it allowed for the development of core skills. The monthly review structure is also well done

Babcock as a whole are nothing but helpful, the help and aid from our training officers are brilliant as well.

4/5
Through our qualifications most of the support is given through our lecturers but additionally time and space to do additional work is always provided if needed
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I feel the qualifications we've undertaken within the apprenticeship are linked well to our role within the company. With all coursework feeling relevant and beneficial to development on the whole
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are opportunities to be STEM ambassadors through our workplace
