Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My day to day roles within my apprenticeship includes creating copy for social media such as Facebook, twitter and Instagram as well as scheduling posts for each of these platforms. As well as this, I create marketing emails for our company, proof reading them and scheduling them too, ready to send out to our audience.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy my programme, both my day to day job as well as my apprenticeship studies on the side, both aspects give me significant support with any task needing to be completed. With the help from my digital marketing boot camps via multiverse, I am able to understand in depth the full aspects of digital marketing.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt and developed many new skills, including the ability to use multiple new software and apps, such as Asana, Sitecore, Hootsuite. I also have learnt how paid advertisement works, including Facebook ads and Google Analytics. Along with these skills I have been able to truly develop my existing skills, such as my team working ability and time management.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is very well structured and organised, with my apprenticeship company multiverse, scheduling boot camps, reviews, revision support and coaching sessions regularly. My line manager at Christie's is very helpful in enabling me to keep my schedule organised, I have one day a week whereby I complete my 20% off the job studies.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer supports me immensely, allowing me time out of my day to day roles whenever I need so that my apprenticeship studies can be completed. I take one day out of my working week so that I can keep up to date with my apprenticeship work as well revise for my exams.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My trainer provider Multiverse are incredibly helpful and supportive, my coach Hannah books one to one sessions for us once a month, so that I can work towards my goals. As well as this, we have boot camps in place so that we can learn new knowledge which will help us towards our exams.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel as though my qualification through my training provider helps me perform to my fullest within my role, the knowledge it is providing me with helps immensely with day to day tasks i am asked to complete. Knowing I will gain this qualification at the end pushes me even further to try my best within my company.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are plenty of extra curricular activities to get involved in at Christie's. To name a few, we have a running club which anyone is able to join, many festive game nights and cinema nights, as well as lunch and breakfast delicacies at our cafe, Jimmy's. We have events within our cohort too including meeting up and going out in London.

Why?
I would definitely recommend Christie's to a friend. The company itself has the friendliest employees, as well as incredible welfare and support for the staff. Within your team you are able to build professional relationships which enable to you excel. The extra curricular activities at Christie's are superb, making you feel part of a community.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Christie's?
My main pieces of advice for those applying for the Christie's Apprenticeship would be to give it your best shot, don't sell yourself short, and use your full potential to the max. Be open to new people and ideas as well as pushing yourself to be the best version of you.
