Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Promoting independence to the individuals I support to help them lead an independent healthy lifestyle. Assist with domestic,food preparation, shopping, healthcare appointments,socialising,administration of bills/appointments.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have really enjoyed my apprenticeship and hope it guides me to a better career in the future.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have been able to learn new skills whilst doing my apprenticeship aswell as increase my knowledge of old skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The program is really organised and my tutor Jo Pope is extremely professional whilst also showing a personal approach to her position. She always puts me at ease and takes pride in what she does.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive minimal support from my employer. Up until recently when my manager was asked to clarify my abilities when working along side me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Jo is available whenever I need to ask questions about the program. She will respond as soon as she is able.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I believe that the qualification has helped me take more pride in my job and understanding the more technical terms behind situations has helped me learn more.
