I was mainly involved with the sampling and testing of audit evidence, as well as taking part in and documenting client walkthroughs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It was a good experience as an entry into auditing and I gained some valuable knowledge which I can take with me into future placements.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many job specific skills such as learning to use software like Aura and Connect. I have developed my excel skills throughout the placement, and also improved my communication skills through working with my team and clients.

The programme was well structured, I mostly knew what work I had to complete each day and who to communicate with.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

You can receive a lot of support from PwC through career coaches, your engagement teams as well as your peers. There is always someone to contact if you need help with anything.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We received training prior to the placement to prepare us. Personal tutors are also available to speak with.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Our qualification gives us the general knowledge and skills we require for our placement. We can then implement this in our placement and gain a more in depth knowledge of the work we are required to do.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are a few socials in the evening after work, and sports teams are available to get involved in.
