We had lots of talks with Trainee Lawyers and qualified Solicitors about their work and their career journey. Also, we had lots of legal tasks such as drafting clauses in contracts and advising clients on what they should do. Finally, we had talks about CV and interview tips which were really helpful.

I really enjoyed the work experience and has increased my interest in a future legal career.
How well organised was your virtual experience?

It was really well organised as we were given a timetable before the week started and through the Forag platform could easily access all of the talks and tasks throughout the week.

We developed our legal and communication skills by asking questions during talks and completing the tasks set through the Forage platform.

How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?

We had talks about the Community action projects that the firm takes part in and through the presentations with the trainee lawyers we were able to gain information about the culture of the firm.

We were able to talk to lots of employees throughout the week and also network with other people on the Work experience through a lunchtime networking event.
