Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
I run the store effectively. On a day to day basis I run shifts and manage crew in a controlled manner. In addition I complete schedules, complete ordering and also interviews. I deal with people issues and try to be a great roll model to the work force day to day
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
Since covid I haven’t really enjoyed my uni course, my grades have dropped as I have struggled with zoom calls, I haven’t felt it benefit with my learning, I feel liken I have had to fire Lind with some assignments and scraped through, prior to this I did enjoy the uni and work side to my course

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I have learnt many skill since the beginning of my course, I’m a confident public speaker and have developed how to control myself and work well in intense and difficult situations, I’ve also learned how to how to problem solve, if I ever have trouble completing any tasks it’s helped me figure out any barriers I face

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The course is organised, I always know where I’m up to and all my dead lines are made clear, the assignment briefs are clear which helps me try stay on task with my topics, I feel like the communication between the store and the unis has been an issue as work don’t understand the work load
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
I occasionally get time to complete my assignment, they don’t really understand how much work and pressure I’m under with it but I get 1 or 2 days a month if I ask for it but they aren’t really aware of what’s going on, however I do get adequate time
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
I’m not actually sure who my provider is, I’ve had contact with [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] but apparent from that I don’t know who provides my training, I’ve worked very independently through this course but can’t help feel I could of done better with a bit more support
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
There are aspects of the course that’s linked to my job like sales and marketing, however some dimensions of the course are not linked, however they may link to a future jobs, the skills you learn at uni are transferable so I’m sure they will be useful at some point
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
I’ve organised football matches between stores and groups of stores, we play once or twice a year with the proceeds going to the PMHC charity, we do this for friendly competition for all the crew and bring all the stores together as there are occasions crew work at different stores
