Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Analysing and presenting data, attending team meetings - 2/3 per day and attending client and expert network calls.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I took on the role of an associate and I was able to take ownership of some of my own sections of our reports. I was also encouraged to speak up and contribute in meetings even in meetings with the most senior members of the project team.

Yes, I have learnt so many skills relating to excel and powerpoint as well as softer skills including communication in the workplace and building up my confidence in an office environment.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I received so much support from my project team with check ins as regularly as every couple of hours. The wider team at Strategy& team were also incredibly supportive, everyone I spoke to was willing to sit down with me and tell me about their careers or help me with whatever I needed.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Amazing, I haven't met a single person that I dislike and there are lots of social events to get to know everyone.

Go for it! Join the Females of the Future program (September/October each year). This gives you a great insight into the company. You get to learn how to do a case study as well as meeting loads of inspiring people that work at the firm.
