Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
My Role consists of supporting relationship managers achieve their monthly, quarterly and yearly targets by aiding with procurement and the processing of their newly won deals as well as supporting both customers and colleagues with deal related queries. I act as a direct contact for all to ensure business transactions are completed smoothly and within the bank's guidelines.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I have thoroughly enjoyed working within a great team and a large business which has given me a great insight into the inner workings of a big corporation. The global situation and working from home have made the journey difficult and to an extent hindered my progression as I haven't received the 1 to 1 training and development that I would have liked. However, Overall I have had a positive experience.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I have learnt how to address customers and colleagues appropriately. I have received training on bank wide systems and gained a greater understanding of business contracts as well as being able to see a business transaction through from start to finish.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme was clearly laid out at the beginning and I have received continuous support throughout. There has been a clear understanding of my position and I have received a lot of training, as well as constantly being offered new programmes to allow me to develop myself further.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
I received a lot of support for the first 6 months prior to the global pandemic however this diminished as Covid arrived and I began working from home. Although still available upon request I feel that more could have been done/provided.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
This has been a positive Experience. Agents have been available throughout the week and have always responded promptly and directly to my queries. I have received lots of support from the provider.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
I don't feel like there was much correlation between both. Although we discussed similar situations, the overall apprenticeship programme has had very little impact on my daily role and the standard of work I have produced in my time at the bank.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
due to the pandemic there has been very little access to these sorts of activities and prior to this, the location of my work did not provide any of these. Bank Lead networks however are available to all and have been presented regularly across the bank.
