Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Helped my team in North American Property with various tasks, some examples include, creating and processing endorsements, ECM'ing invoices, NTU'ing open quotes. Involves regular communication with team members as well as emailing underwriters form markets. Also complete a project alongside other interns and its topic varies between groups.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes - to an extent. Throughout the internship I was progressively given more and more tasks and trusted progressively more and more to complete them independently. E.g first I will complete the tasks alongside another team member, after a few weeks, I can complete the work independently but get it checked by a senior member of the team and nearing the end of the internship I was able to do the work myself and was trusted to do it accurately by myself.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
My time management skills and my ability to multi-task as well as my ability to complete tasks simultaneously whilst considering importance, deadlines and waiting for responses from the relevant body.
My communication and teamworking skills have greatly developed and finally my ability to work independently and taking responsibility also developed.
